Job Summary:

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the store. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the efficient operation of all store functions. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for coffee, and a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of store employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store, ensuring customers feel valued and satisfied.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance, including sales figures, inventory levels, and expenses, and develop strategies to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of store staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain consistency and quality in all aspects of store operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation, minimizing waste and ensuring product freshness.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, striving to resolve issues promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer and the company.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the regional management team and other store managers to share best practices, drive operational excellence, and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar managerial role, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including point-of-sale (POS) software and inventory management systems.
  • Passion for coffee and a strong knowledge of coffee products and brewing methods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
