Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and staff management.
• Provide guidance and support to the store team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring product availability and accurate inventory management.
• Conduct regular store inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities and achieve sales targets.
• Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
• Delegate tasks to team members and monitor their performance to ensure efficient store operations.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including displays, shelves, and customer areas.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and changes in store policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive working environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Sound understanding of retail operations, including cash handling, merchandising, and customer service.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance within the store.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with retail management software.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting and carrying stock.
