Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

   • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
   • Coordinate project resources, including engineering personnel, equipment, and materials.
   • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and take necessary actions to keep projects on schedule.
   • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

2. Stakeholder Management:

   • Establish and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
   • Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities as required.
   • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
   • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.

3. Budget and Cost Management:

   • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control.
   • Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement appropriate measures.
   • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts.
   • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure efficient financial management.

4. Risk Management:

   • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate risk controls.
   • Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to minimize their impact.
   • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

5. Team Leadership:

   • Lead project teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support.
   • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
   • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to team members.
   • Encourage professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or energy sector.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Flexibility to travel and work on different projects and locations.
