Job Summary:

2 Sisters Food Group Limited, a leading food manufacturing company, is currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Production Workers. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our food production facility. Your responsibilities will involve working on various production lines, ensuring the quality, safety, and timely production of our food products. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate machinery and equipment on the production line, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
2. Carry out quality control checks at specified intervals to ensure products meet the required standards and specifications.
3. Monitor production processes, identifying and reporting any malfunctions, faults, or deviations from standards.
4. Package finished products according to company guidelines, including weighing, labeling, and palletizing.
5. Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines, ensuring smooth transitions between product runs.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation protocols.
7. Follow health and safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
8. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including handwashing, proper handling of raw materials, and adherence to allergen control measures.
9. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient production flow and problem resolution.
10. Attend training sessions and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
3. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
4. Basic numeracy and literacy skills to perform tasks such as recording production data and reading product specifications.
5. Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to meeting production targets and maintaining product quality.
6. Flexibility to work in shift patterns, including weekends and holidays, as production demands require.
7. Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations and follow company policies and procedures.
8. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is advantageous.
10. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
