Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate onboarding for new employees and conduct exit interviews for departing employees.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees and managers.
- Performance Management: Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including surveys and feedback mechanisms.
- HR Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records and data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
