Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  2. Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  3. Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate onboarding for new employees and conduct exit interviews for departing employees.
  4. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  5. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees and managers.
  6. Performance Management: Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  7. Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including surveys and feedback mechanisms.
  8. HR Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations.
  9. Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records and data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
