We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Night Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering our products to various locations during the night shift.

Job Summary:

As a Night Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our baked goods to our customers. Your role will involve driving company vehicles, loading and unloading products, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a valid driver’s license, strong navigation skills, and the ability to work effectively during night hours.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver baked goods to customers on assigned routes.
• Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring accuracy and careful handling.
• Plan delivery routes using navigation tools or maps to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Follow delivery schedules and maintain punctuality to meet customer expectations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service, delivering products with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Collect payment from customers, if required, and accurately record transactions.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any delivery discrepancies.
• Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws during the delivery process.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse team and other drivers to coordinate loading and delivery schedules.
• Report any customer feedback, complaints, or issues to the appropriate department.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food industry, is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local area and strong navigation skills.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting and carrying of bakery products.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording deliveries and payments.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
