Job Description:

As a Groomer at THE DOGSAPWS, your primary responsibility will be to provide professional grooming services for dogs of various breeds and sizes. You will be responsible for ensuring that each dog’s grooming experience is safe, comfortable, and meets the highest standards of care. Here are some key responsibilities associated with this role:

• Dog Grooming: Performing grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, hair cutting, and nail trimming, adhering to breed-specific standards and client preferences.
• Pet Styling: Styling dogs’ coats according to the requested or standard styles.
• Skin and Coat Care: Assessing and addressing skin and coat conditions, including matting and shedding.
• Ear and Eye Cleaning: Cleaning and caring for dogs’ ears and eyes as needed.
• Nail Maintenance: Trimming and filing dogs’ nails to appropriate lengths.
• Sanitization: Ensuring that grooming tools and equipment are sanitized and maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
• Pet Handling: Handling dogs gently and safely during grooming procedures.
• Customer Interaction: Communicating with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and any specific concerns.
• Client Education: Providing guidance to pet owners on proper at-home grooming and care.
