Responsibilities:

1. Site Management:
   • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
   • Manage and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
2. Health and Safety:
   • Prioritize and enforce a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
   • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
3. Quality Control:
   • Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
   • Monitor and address any issues related to workmanship and quality.
4. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and motivate the on-site workforce, including subcontractors and direct employees.
   • Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
5. Progress Reporting:
   • Keep track of project progress and report to project managers and stakeholders on a regular basis.
   • Identify any potential delays or challenges and communicate them promptly.
6. Material Management:
   • Coordinate the delivery, storage, and usage of construction materials efficiently.
   • Minimize wastage and ensure proper inventory management.
7. Problem-Solving:
   • Address on-site challenges and troubleshoot issues that may arise during construction.
   • Collaborate with project managers to find effective solutions.
8. Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and regulations.
   • Participate in relevant inspections and audits.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional qualifications in construction management or a related field are advantageous.
• Experience: Significant experience as a General Foreman or a similar supervisory role in the construction industry is essential.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and techniques.
