Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor for the night shift in the United Kingdom. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers during overnight hours. You will handle a variety of inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction during non-standard working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the night shift, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer queries regarding products, services, orders, and account information.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting technical issues and provide guidance on product usage.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and empathetic manner, aiming for first-call resolution whenever possible.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further assistance.
- Update customer records and maintain accurate documentation of interactions and resolutions in the customer service database.
- Collaborate with other teams, including technical support and logistics, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to effectively address customer inquiries.
- Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and meet performance targets for response time and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude, even during demanding or high-pressure situations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a customer service or call center role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address customer issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and patience.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and basic computer applications.
- Availability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing shift patterns and work schedules.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of the product or industry is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn and acquire product knowledge is essential.
