Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor for the night shift in the United Kingdom. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers during overnight hours. You will handle a variety of inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction during non-standard working hours.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the night shift, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  2. Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer queries regarding products, services, orders, and account information.
  3. Assist customers with troubleshooting technical issues and provide guidance on product usage.
  4. Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and empathetic manner, aiming for first-call resolution whenever possible.
  5. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further assistance.
  6. Update customer records and maintain accurate documentation of interactions and resolutions in the customer service database.
  7. Collaborate with other teams, including technical support and logistics, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  8. Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to effectively address customer inquiries.
  9. Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and meet performance targets for response time and customer satisfaction.
  10. Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude, even during demanding or high-pressure situations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proven experience in a customer service or call center role is preferred.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address customer issues effectively.
  4. Ability to work independently and make sound judgments while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
  5. Exceptional customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and patience.
  6. Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and basic computer applications.
  7. Availability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to changing shift patterns and work schedules.
  9. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  10. Knowledge of the product or industry is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn and acquire product knowledge is essential.
