Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, following our standard recipes and quality guidelines.
2. Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients, including coffee beans, milk, and other beverage components.
3. Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and milk frothers, with precision and efficiency.
4. Welcome customers, take their orders, and provide attentive and friendly customer service throughout their visit.
5. Recommend and upsell additional products, such as pastries or snacks, to enhance the customer experience.
6. Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently, following cash handling procedures.
7. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
8. Assist in stock management, including receiving deliveries, checking inventory, and restocking supplies.
9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, supporting each other during busy periods.
10. Uphold the company’s brand standards and values, delivering a consistently high level of service and product quality.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role, preferably in a coffeehouse or café setting.
2. Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and latte art.
3. Passion for coffee and a strong desire to provide an exceptional coffee experience to customers.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
5. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.
6. Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
7. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
9. Adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
10. A positive and proactive work ethic, with a focus on teamwork and delivering a memorable customer experience.
