Key Responsibilities:

1. Gardening and Landscaping: Carry out a range of gardening and landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and maintaining lawns, hedges, flower beds, and other green areas.
2. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and hand tools. Ensure equipment is cleaned, stored properly, and report any maintenance or repair needs.
3. Plant Care: Select and plant appropriate flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation based on the project requirements. Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and apply necessary treatments.
4. Lawn Care: Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain a neat and well-manicured appearance. Apply fertilizers, aerate soil, and address weed control as necessary.
5. General Labour: Assist with general labor tasks as required, which may include lifting and carrying materials, digging, moving equipment, and other physical duties to support project completion.
6. Site Preparation: Prepare sites for gardening and landscaping projects, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and removing unwanted vegetation.
7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
8. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project goals are met. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or general labor is preferred.
• Knowledge of gardening techniques, plant care, and landscaping principles.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills to work well within a team.
• Willingness to follow instructions and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation may be required, depending on the project locations.
