Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transportation of vehicles, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely delivery.
- Liaise with clients, insurance companies, and internal departments to gather necessary information for transportation arrangements.
- Schedule vehicle pick-ups and deliveries, considering factors such as distance, time constraints, and vehicle capacity.
- Communicate with drivers and transport companies to confirm schedules and provide necessary instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, including collection and delivery details.
- Monitor the progress of vehicle transportation, addressing any delays or issues proactively.
- Update clients and internal stakeholders on the status of vehicle transportation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including vehicle documentation and driver qualifications.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections and prepare relevant documentation for vehicles leaving and returning to the facility.
- Assist in managing transport-related administrative tasks, such as maintaining driver records and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize transport processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in transport coordination or a related role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
