Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities:

1. Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
2. Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
3. Empty trash bins and replace liners.
4. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, light switches, and handrails.
5. Wipe and polish surfaces, including desks, countertops, and furniture.
6. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
7. Restock consumables, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
8. Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
9. Adhere to health and safety regulations, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
10. Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor or site manager.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
3. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
4. Good verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
6. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment or supplies.
7. Eligibility to work in the UK.
