Now, there are some reasons why Linux beats Windows 10, and the points are going to list out now.

8 Reasons why Linux beats Windows 10

Linux doesn’t need to be activated by phone or through the internet. Linux is unique in the sense that if you change your hardware and re-install another Linux, then you don’t have to call anyone to rationalize it.

  1. Linux has many advantages whereby you can install it on many computers you want. Also, you can download it and burn it inside the disc. Keeping the product keys for safety is not necessary for Linux.
  2. It very reliable and stable, as Linux is Unix-based, and Unix was initially designed to provide an environment that’s powerful, reliable and stable, and easy to use. Meanwhile, Linux servers on the internet have been working for years without any problem, like a failure or restarted at all.
  3. Another significant benefit of Linux is that you don’t need to explain to Linux users that “Windows 97” is not a product, office 98 and not Vista, which has the ridiculous ribbon bar.
  4. The total cost of ownership (TCO) and maintenance cost of owning and maintaining a Linux server is pretty far low to a Windows server than is high, like licensing fees, software/hardware purchase, and maintenance costs. But if you are running a proprietary Linux distribution such as RHEL or SUSE server Linux that requires a subscription.
  5. The Linux Operating system will brace the old hardware for snappy performance and make it better with your modern hardware.
  6. Linux is indeed perfect for programmers because it supports and works well for all programming languages. It offers a vast range of applications useful for programming purposes.
  7. Privacy is the foremost importance in any system, and Microsoft certainly tries to anonymize the data collected from every user. Windows 10 is different from others because you need to check the privacy settings to know that all settings are enabled by default, while Linux would be the perfect solution for a privacy buff. Linux did not collect too much data from users, and you won’t need additional tools you can use to protect and save your privacy.

With Windows 10, you could only head into the privacy settings to know that everything is enabled by default. Even if you opt-out to send Microsoft information about your data, it is still being collected.

But, Linux, in contrast, would be the perfect solution for a privacy buff. Linux distributions do not collect much data (or none). Moreover, you will not need additional tools to protect your privacy.
