Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and process customer orders by accurately picking items from designated locations within the warehouse.
• Utilize picking equipment such as handheld scanners, pick carts, or forklifts to assist in the order fulfillment process.
• Ensure that all picked items are of high quality, undamaged, and meet the specific requirements of each order.
• Properly pack and label items to ensure safe transportation and delivery to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper storage and inventory management practices.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflows, effective communication, and timely order processing.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of goods, equipment operation, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in regular stock checks, inventory counts, and quality control procedures to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
• Report any inventory shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including receiving and stocking inventory, replenishing supplies, and maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, order fulfillment processes, and inventory management.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity targets and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate order picking and packing.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks as required.
• Familiarity with picking equipment such as handheld scanners, pick carts, or forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate inventory management systems or related software.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as required.
