Job Overview:

We are urgently hiring 19 Fruit Farm Workers to assist with various farming activities, including planting, harvesting, sorting, and packaging fruits. No previous experience is required, but candidates should be physically fit, hardworking, and willing to work in outdoor environments.

This job is open to local residents and foreign workers who are looking to build their careers in Canada’s agricultural sector. Visa sponsorship and a 3-year work permit will be provided to eligible international candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fruit Farming Duties:

Plant, cultivate, and harvest a variety of fruits such as berries, apples, and cherries.
Prune trees and plants to ensure healthy fruit growth.
Irrigate and fertilize crops according to farm guidelines.
Remove weeds and pests using safe and approved farming methods.
Operate farm machinery and tools as required.

2. Sorting and Packaging:

Pick and sort fruits based on size, color, and quality.
Wash, clean, and pack harvested fruits for storage and shipment.
Ensure all produce meets quality standards before distribution.

3. Farm Maintenance and Safety:

Clean and maintain farm equipment, tools, and work areas.
Follow workplace health and safety regulations to prevent injuries.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Report any farm issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

No formal education is required.
Basic reading and writing skills are helpful.

Experience:

No prior experience needed – training will be provided.
Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or physical labor is an asset.
