Responsibilities:
- Range Planning: Collaborate with the Buying team to plan and develop the Footwear & Accessories product range based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure sufficient availability of Footwear & Accessories products in stores, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
- Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to manage deliveries, negotiate terms, and address any supply chain issues.
- Promotions and Markdowns: Plan and execute promotional activities and markdowns to optimize sales and clear slow-moving stock.
- Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create appealing displays that enhance the shopping experience for customers.
- Pricing and Profitability: Monitor pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on product performance, stock levels, and sales forecasts to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Merchandising Experience: Previous experience as a Merchandiser, particularly in Footwear & Accessories, is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and numerical abilities to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and market insights within the Footwear & Accessories category.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying hours and travel as needed to support store visits and supplier meetings.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
