Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure that guest rooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with amenities and clean towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms and public areas to the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of hotel facilities, including corridors, elevators, and stairways.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to hotel guidelines.
- Handle the cleaning and maintenance of hotel equipment and machinery.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Support the laundry team in handling linens and guest laundry when required.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning event spaces for meetings and functions.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance and cleaning roles in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Must meet the eligibility criteria for work visa sponsorship in the United Arab Emirates.
