- Monitor and manage kitchen operations, including food costing, inventory, and wastage control.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, complying with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the F&B Manager to create unique dining experiences for special events and promotions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to inspire creativity and professional growth among the kitchen staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and ingredients, and incorporate them into the menu.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints related to the culinary experience, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of ingredients and food supplies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Strong culinary expertise and a passion for creating innovative and exquisite dishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate the kitchen team.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and control food costs.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Creativity and the ability to continuously introduce new culinary concepts and dishes.
