Job Overview
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at u&u. Recruitment Partners. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization and its clients from cyber threats by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to implement effective security measures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and security events to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the organization’s systems and networks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Provide advice and guidance on security best practices to internal teams and clients.

Requirements

- Experience with network monitoring, log analysis, and intrusion detection tools.
- Knowledge of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
