Responsibilities:

3. Monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
4. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures.
6. Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
7. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
8. Monitor project costs and budgets, tracking expenditures and providing regular updates to the management team.
9. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to address project requirements, resolve conflicts, and provide updates on progress.
10. Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and regulations.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
4. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a construction team.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing issues on-site.
7. Understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
8. Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
9. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
10. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different project sites within the London area.
