Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple catering retail outlets, including cafes, restaurants, or food kiosks. Ensure smooth operations, adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and exceptional customer service.
2. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of catering staff, including chefs, cooks, servers, and cashiers. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
3. Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to develop appealing and profitable menus that cater to customer preferences and dietary requirements. Ensure consistent quality and timely introduction of new offerings.
4. Customer Service: Foster a customer-focused culture, ensuring prompt and friendly service. Address customer concerns, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally. Strive to exceed customer expectations and enhance customer loyalty.
5. Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop strategies to increase sales and profitability, including upselling, promotional campaigns, and cost optimization. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
6. Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory levels, stock rotation, and ordering processes to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize wastage. Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor delivery schedules.
7. Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial performance. Analyze financial data, identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement, and implement strategies accordingly.
8. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
9. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and loyalty programs to attract new customers and enhance brand visibility.
10. Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth, such as catering for events, corporate partnerships, or expanding into new locations. Develop business proposals, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships with clients.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Catering Retail Manager or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Experience in managing multiple outlets is advantageous.
2. Strong knowledge of catering and food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and food safety regulations.
3. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
4. Demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and achieve financial targets.
5. Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
6. Sound business acumen and understanding of profit and loss statements, inventory management, and cost control.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.

9. Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in developing marketing strategies is a plus.
