Job Summary:

As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and metal fabrication tasks to support various construction and manufacturing projects. Your proficiency in various welding techniques, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will be essential in delivering high-quality results. This role requires a dedicated and proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Arc, and Gas welding, to join and fabricate metal components accurately.
Select appropriate welding methods and materials based on project specifications and metal types.
Measure and mark metal pieces to guide the welding process and ensure precise alignment.
Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, and debris.
Inspect welded joints for accuracy, structural integrity, and conformance to quality standards.
Repair and modify metal structures, as needed, to meet project requirements.
Comply with safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during welding tasks.
Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and supervisors, to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain welding equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and report any maintenance needs.
Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of welding tasks.
Monitor inventory of welding supplies and request replenishment when needed.
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including work logs and material usage.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Arc, and Gas welding.
Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for welding operations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Physical strength and stamina to handle welding equipment and materials.
Effective communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
Welding certifications or relevant training is advantageous.
