Job Summary:

Natural Stone Installers Ltd, a reputable company specializing in natural stone products, is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including handling incoming and outgoing goods, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires physical stamina, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and unload incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and verifying the quality of products.
2. Inspect and record any damages or discrepancies in received goods, promptly reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
3. Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy accessibility.
4. Accurately pick, pack, and label items for outgoing orders, following order sheets or instructions.
5. Prepare products for shipment, including wrapping, palletizing, and securing them for safe transport.
6. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management, updating records and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packaging materials.
8. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and proficiently, following established guidelines.
9. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
10. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of products.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
2. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
3. Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management tasks.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete tasks and follow instructions.
5. Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
6. Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is advantageous.
7. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well with colleagues and follow directions.
8. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as warehouse operations may require.
9. Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
10. A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to meeting quality and productivity standards.
