Job Summary:

Jobandtalent, a reputable staffing agency, is currently seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse, handling various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming goods, verifying quantities and checking for any damages or discrepancies.
2. Unload and unpack deliveries, ensuring items are properly stored in designated areas.
3. Perform accurate data entry and record-keeping of incoming and outgoing goods using warehouse management systems.
4. Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items according to established procedures.
5. Utilize material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to safely and efficiently move goods within the warehouse.
6. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management, reporting any discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and adhering to health and safety regulations.
8. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and quality targets.
9. Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, such as cycle counting, order sorting, and repacking.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
2. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
3. Basic computer literacy for data entry and using warehouse management systems.
4. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is advantageous.
5. Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete tasks and follow instructions.
6. Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
7. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well with colleagues and follow direction.
8. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as warehouse operations may require.
9. Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
10. A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to meeting quality and productivity standards.
