Job Summary:
Care UK Plc, a leading provider of health and social care services, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Admission Advisor. As a Home Admission Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals and their families in the process of choosing and transitioning into our care homes. This position requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals and families interested in our care homes, providing information and guidance throughout the admission process.
- Conduct initial assessments and discussions with potential residents and their families to understand their care needs, preferences, and expectations.
- Provide detailed information about our care homes, services, amenities, and the admission criteria to help individuals make informed decisions.
- Conduct tours of the care homes, showcasing the facilities, accommodation options, communal areas, and other relevant features.
- Build positive relationships with potential residents and their families, addressing their questions, concerns, and addressing any barriers to admission.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as care home managers and care staff, to ensure a smooth transition and personalized care plans for new residents.
- Coordinate and assist with the completion of admission paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, admissions, and other relevant information using the designated systems and databases.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market demands to effectively promote our care homes.
- Uphold the values and reputation of Care UK Plc by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals and families.
- Empathy and sensitivity in working with older adults and their families, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inquiries, paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of the care home sector, including the regulatory framework and admission processes, is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless admission process.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and office software for documentation and communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular office hours, as needed, to accommodate potential residents and their families.
- Positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
