Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vans and forklift trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of the vehicle, yourself, and others.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing during transportation.
• Operate forklift trucks to move and handle goods within warehouses or other premises.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service, displaying professionalism and courtesy towards clients and customers.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or special requirements.
• Conduct routine vehicle and forklift inspections, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to company guidelines for health and safety, including the proper handling of goods and operation of forklift trucks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a van driver and forklift truck driver, preferably in a similar role.
• Excellent driving skills, with a strong emphasis on safety, punctuality, and efficiency.
• Valid forklift truck operator’s license.
• Familiarity with local areas and routes within the designated delivery region.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting deliveries.
• Dependability and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
• Flexibility in working hours, as occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required.
