Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight: Manage and coordinate a portfolio of projects, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement program strategies that align with Qatar Airways’ goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project managers and teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Performance Monitoring: Track program performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress to senior management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects within the program adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Education and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is preferred.
