Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audit daily revenues, including room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and other sources of income.
- Verify the accuracy of revenue and expense transactions.
- Prepare daily revenue reports and distribute them to relevant departments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including revenue reconciliation and journal entries.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to the finance team as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in income auditing or accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
