Job Description:

As an Electrician at BS Quality Construction Ltd., you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and project specifications. You will work on a variety of construction projects, collaborating closely with other tradespeople to ensure the efficient and safe completion of electrical installations.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, outlets, and switches, in accordance with local electrical codes and project plans.
2. Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
3. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical installations and ensure compliance with project schedules.
4. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and specifications of electrical systems.
5. Ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
6. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and components to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
7. Provide guidance and assistance to apprentices and other junior electricians when required.
8. Keep accurate records of electrical work performed, including materials used, time spent, and work completed.
9. Stay updated with advancements in electrical technology, codes, and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Valid electrician license or certification (e.g., Red Seal, Journeyman Electrician).
2. Proven experience as an Electrician in the construction industry.
3. Thorough knowledge of local electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
10. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
