Job Description:

Al Ghazal Golf Club Abu Dhabi, a prestigious golf club in Dubai, is currently seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Cashiers. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive experience for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems.
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Verify pricing and product information by scanning and checking items.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including counters and displays.
• Provide assistance and respond to member and guest inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions.
• Utilize upselling techniques to suggest additional items and enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and club policies.
• Address and resolve member and guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with operating cash registers or POS systems.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using technology.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
