Responsibilities:

2. Food Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including hot drinks, sandwiches, cakes, and snacks, maintaining high-quality standards.
3. Order Taking: Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary preferences and special requests are accommodated.
4. Cash Handling: Operate the cash register and handle transactions promptly and accurately.
5. Table Service: Serve food and drinks to customers at their tables, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
6. Cafe Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe area, including tables, counters, and seating areas.
7. Stock Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, replenishing items, and conducting stock rotation to minimize waste.
8. Health and Safety: Comply with Tesco’s health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations, to ensure a safe and sanitary cafe environment.

Requirements:

1. Customer Focus: A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for guests.
2. Food Service Experience: Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
3. Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
