Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate construction activities, resources, and schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets specifications and standards.
- Site Management: Oversee day-to-day activities on construction sites, including subcontractor management, materials procurement, and equipment utilization.
- Health and Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols and practices on construction sites to ensure the well-being of all personnel.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and solutions to address construction challenges and issues that may arise during projects.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, change orders, and correspondence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Survey and Measurement: Conduct site surveys and measurements to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional engineering certification (RPEQ or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proficiency in construction management software and AutoCAD.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
