Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Design: Lead the design and development of aviation platforms, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aviation systems and components into larger defense systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that aviation platforms meet safety and regulatory standards, including compliance with defense and aviation regulations.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of aviation platforms through testing, analysis, and optimization.
- Project Management: Manage engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of platform design, modifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of aviation platforms.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in aviation platform engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of aviation systems, including airframes, propulsion, and avionics.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
- Leadership skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
