Responsibilities:

1. Security Strategy: Develop and implement a robust security strategy, policies, and procedures to protect company assets and ensure the safety of personnel and visitors.
2. Security Operations: Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems, to maintain a secure environment.
3. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
4. Incident Response: Manage security incidents and emergencies effectively, coordinating with relevant authorities when necessary.
5. Team Management: Lead and supervise the security team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
6. Security Training: Organize security awareness and training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of security protocols.
7. Vendor Management: Liaise with security service providers and vendors to ensure the quality and effectiveness of outsourced security services.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.
9. Investigation: Conduct internal investigations on security-related incidents, maintain accurate records, and present findings to the management.
10. Security Audits: Conduct periodic security audits to assess the effectiveness of security measures and implement necessary improvements.
11. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in security management are advantageous.
2. Experience: Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar security leadership role is required.
3. Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be provided for qualified foreign candidates, allowing them to legally work in Dubai.
4. Security Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of security practices, risk assessment, crisis management, and security technology.
5. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to lead a security team effectively.
6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, employees, and external authorities.
7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security risks and devise effective solutions.

9. Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and handle challenging situations.
10. Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
