Responsibilities:

• Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, engines, and valves.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and diagnosing problems to determine appropriate solutions.
• Performing inspections and tests on equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Documenting maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
• Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Education and Qualification:

• Diploma or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Previous experience as a mechanical technician, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures for mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
