Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inventory counts of merchandise in retail stores using handheld scanning devices or manual methods.
• Ensure accurate and efficient counting of products, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Record inventory data, including product codes, quantities, and locations, using electronic or paper-based systems.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in stock levels to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with store staff to coordinate stocktaking activities and minimize disruption to store operations.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in counting and recording inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of products and equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality and integrity of stocktaking activities.
• Complete stocktaking assignments within specified time frames and meet productivity targets.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in stocktaking, inventory control, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills to accurately count and record inventory.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using handheld scanning devices or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, depending on the assignment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings, as required.
