Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at FCC/FAC (Company Name), located in Canada. This position is open to foreign applicants who require visa sponsorship. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and transferring calls as needed.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, presentable, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and security protocols.
- Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information about the company, its products, and services.
- Liaise with internal staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Assist in organizing company events and special projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold data protection standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of office equipment, such as telephone systems and printers.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends.
