Job Description
We’re seeking fully qualified plumbers for various roles across Manchester’s thriving construction and maintenance sectors. Positions available include:
- Domestic Plumbing Installers – Working on new-build housing developments and home renovations
- Commercial Plumbing Specialists – Installing systems in offices, hotels, and public buildings
- Heating Engineers – Focusing on boiler installations, underfloor heating, and renewable systems
- Maintenance Plumbers – Servicing social housing and property maintenance contracts
- Gas Engineers – For those with additional gas safe qualifications
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and pipework
- Fitting bathrooms, kitchens, and wet rooms to high specifications
- Working with copper, plastic, and steel piping systems
- Installing and commissioning heating systems including boilers, radiators and controls
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
- Ensuring all work complies with UK water regulations and building codes
- Completing job sheets and paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service to clients

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Recognised plumbing qualification (equivalent to UK Level 3 NVQ)
- Minimum 3 years’ professional plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation techniques
- Physical fitness for manual work in various conditions
- Basic understanding of UK plumbing regulations (training provided)
- English language skills at CEFR B1 level (for visa requirements)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with British plumbing standards and materials
- Gas Safe registration (for heating engineer roles)
- WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) knowledge
- CSCS card (can be obtained after job offer)
- Full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain)
