Job Description
As a Licensed Plumber at MapleFlow Plumbing & Heating Inc., you will be responsible for providing a wide range of plumbing services, including pipe installation, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics in both residential and commercial settings.
You’ll work closely with our clients and project managers, following local codes and safety regulations to deliver reliable plumbing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Pipe Installation & Repairs
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Work with copper, PEX, PVC, ABS, cast iron, and other materials
- Assemble, install, and test fixtures and plumbing components (toilets, sinks, bathtubs, etc.)
Water and Heating Systems
- Install and service hot water heaters, water filtration systems, and hydronic heating
- Ensure proper drainage, flow, and functionality of all water systems
- Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and faulty valves or pumps
Project Planning & Coordination
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to plan pipe layouts
- Collaborate with contractors and other team members to meet project deadlines
- Provide clients with estimates and explain recommended work
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all plumbing systems comply with local building codes and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use tools and materials efficiently, with attention to minimizing waste
Required Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in plumbing (residential or commercial)
- Trade certification or relevant plumbing diploma/technical training
- Good understanding of English (basic verbal and written)
- Willingness to relocate and work legally in Canada
- Able to pass a pre-employment assessment and reference check
Preferred:
- Experience working in international construction or maintenance projects
- Basic knowledge of Canadian plumbing standards (training will be provided)
- Valid driver’s license (international or Canadian)
