Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients with endocrine disorders.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as hormone assays and imaging studies.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle interventions.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Providing patient and family education on the management of endocrine conditions, including medication administration, blood glucose monitoring, and dietary management.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Participating in research and scholarly activities related to pediatric endocrinology.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in patient care.
Education and Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Completion of residency training in Pediatrics and fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in Qatar.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of endocrine disorders in pediatric patients.
