Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating pediatric patients with infectious diseases.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood cultures, viral studies, and imaging studies.
• Providing education and counseling to patients and their families regarding prevention, treatment, and management of infectious diseases.
• Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences.
• Contributing to research projects and scholarly activities related to pediatric infectious diseases.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.

Education and Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics Infectious Diseases.
• Completion of residency training in Pediatrics.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in Qatar.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise and proficiency in pediatric infectious diseases.
