Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the achievement of business objectives.
  2. Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning.
  3. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance management while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  4. Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programs for managers and supervisors.
  5. Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring and transformation efforts.
  6. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting and feedback mechanisms.
  7. HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  8. Workplace Culture: Promote and reinforce a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity.
  9. HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and provide insights for decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and employees.
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
