Education:
- Bachelor / Diploma / Secondary which is as prescribed below
Experience :
- 1 – 3 Years of experience in Related Field
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Captain in overseeing the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Supervise and train deck crew members in routine operations and emergency procedures.
- Maintain navigational charts and equipment and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
- Monitor weather conditions and coordinate with the Captain to make navigation decisions.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Assist in cargo operations and ensure proper loading and unloading procedures.
Education and Qualification:
- Valid Chief Mate (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Chief Officer on offshore vessels or ships.
- Proficiency in navigation systems and maritime regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
