Position Description

  • Hazardous materials handling and transportation will be expected of the candidate.
  • The candidate will be expected to do preventative maintenance on cars and inspect them regularly for cleanliness, mechanical problems, and safety issues.
  • The candidate will have to handle unexpected roadside maintenance.
  • The applicant would be in charge of making purchases and receiving payments.

Brake adjustments will be required of the candidate.

  • The applicant will have to load and unload cargo.
  • The applicant will be responsible for operating lighter, specialty trucks.
  • The applicant will be in charge of gathering information and transmitting it to central dispatch.
  • The applicant will be in charge of operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport materials and merchandise.
  • The applicant will be in responsible of tarping and guaranteeing the security and safety of the shipment.
  • The applicant must operate a vehicle in a convoy or two-person team.
  • The applicant would be in charge of monitoring the state of the vehicle and inspecting the tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other machinery.
  • The candidate would be in charge of booking reservations, planning associated itineraries, and organizing travel.
  • The applicant would be in charge of keeping track of the cargo details, service hours, journey distance, and fuel usage.
  • The candidate will be in charge of overseeing all components of the vehicle and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
    The applicant must to have mountain driving experience.
  • While delivering goods to customers, the candidate will be expected to uphold a high quality of customer service.
  • The candidate will be expected to do preventative maintenance on cars and inspect them regularly for cleanliness, mechanical problems, and safety issues.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep an eye on the truck’s oil level and top it off as necessary.
  • The candidate must adhere to corporate policies and procedures as well as truck driving standards and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break times).
  • All driving laws must be observed and obeyed by the candidate.
  • The applicant must make sure that any mechanical problems with the car are fixed before getting behind the wheel.
  • The candidate will be expected to drive very carefully.

Position Requirements

  • The applicant should speak French or English well.
    Standard educational qualifications like a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a certification are not necessary.
  • The ideal applicant should have a minimum of two to three years’ worth of experience working in a related field.
  • The applicant must possess the following credentials: completion of a defensive driving course, a driver’s license (class 1 or A), an air brake (Z) endorsement, a CDRP card, a CVOR certificate, a FAST (Free and Secure
  • Trade) program card, an AZ class license, and a certificate for the Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • The applicant should have strong interpersonal and judgmental skills and be a good team player.
  • The ideal candidate will be well-organized and adaptable.
  • The applicant must arrive on time.
