Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of business objectives.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead and support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance management while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Leadership Development: Identify leadership development needs and coordinate training and coaching programs for leaders.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring and transformation efforts.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
- HR Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Engagement: Implement and support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including surveys and action planning.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and provide insights for decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
