Job Summary:

As a Valet Attendant, you will provide a professional and efficient valet parking service for our hotel guests. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle vehicles responsibly will contribute to creating a positive and convenient experience for our guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome guests arriving by car, providing a warm and friendly greeting.
2. Park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to parking protocols and traffic regulations.
3. Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage or other items from their vehicles.
4. Offer information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
5. Provide directions and assistance to guests as needed.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the valet area and parking facilities.
7. Ensure the security and proper handling of guests’ vehicles and belongings.
8. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
9. Maintain accurate records of vehicle information and parking transactions.
10. Collaborate with other hotel staff and departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
11. Follow health and safety regulations and procedures.
12. Stay up to date with hotel policies, procedures, and promotions.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Valet Attendant or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Professional appearance and a friendly and courteous demeanor.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle vehicles responsibly.
6. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
7. Familiarity with local roads, landmarks, and attractions.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry luggage.
10. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
11. Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
12. High school diploma or equivalent.
