Job Summary:

As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms in our hotel. Your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards will contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. This position requires efficiency, thoroughness, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Restock and replenish amenities, towels, and other supplies in guest rooms.
3. Empty trash and replace trash bags in guest rooms and public areas.
4. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and fixtures.
5. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
6. Respond to guest requests or complaints regarding room cleanliness promptly and courteously.
7. Adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
8. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests.
9. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations.
10. Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of public areas as needed.
11. Follow established procedures for lost and found items.
12. Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen closets.
13. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
2. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
3. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
4. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established cleaning protocols.
5. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
6. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
10. High school diploma or equivalent.
