Job Summary:

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of beverages to our guests, ensuring an exceptional bar experience. Your knowledge of mixology, attention to detail, and friendly customer service will contribute to guest satisfaction and the overall success of our bar operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome guests to the bar and provide a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
2. Take drink orders from guests and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
3. Utilize mixology techniques to create and serve cocktails, including classic and signature drinks.
4. Adhere to recipes and standard measurements to ensure consistent quality and taste of beverages.
5. Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests based on their preferences and menu offerings.
6. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the cleaning and polishing of glassware and bar utensils.
7. Monitor bar inventory levels and restock supplies as needed, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and barware.
8. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
9. Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensure guests are of legal drinking age.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
11. Engage in up-selling and suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales and revenue.
12. Collaborate with other bar staff and hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
13. Stay up to date with new beverage trends, cocktail recipes, and industry developments.
14. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and beverage service.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
5. Professional and friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach.
6. Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal drinking age requirements.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry trays and beverage supplies.
9. Proficiency in using a POS system and handling cash transactions.
10. Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
11. High school diploma or equivalent.
12. Additional certifications in bartending or mixology are a plus.
