Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming shipments, unload and inspect goods for damages or discrepancies.
2. Verify and record the received quantities against purchase orders or delivery notes.
3. Organize and label received goods, ensuring proper storage and efficient use of warehouse space.
4. Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items in accordance with customer orders or shipping instructions.
5. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely move and handle goods.
6. Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies.
7. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
8. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
9. Assist with stock replenishment and stock rotation to minimize stockouts and expired products.
10. Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to company policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not essential.
2. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
3. Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment safely.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying and recording inventory.
5. Good organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
7. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
9. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous.
10. A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
